Représentation et Complexité

UNESCO ISSC EDUCAM,1997

FLACSO, Buenos Aires,  2000.

The goal of this book is to try to respond, with viable and concrete recommendations, to the challenges of the future. The correlated globalization of the third industrial revolution - that of the new information and communication technologies - tends to turn globalized to four fifths of the planet and globalizers to only one fifth, who are the ones who decide the destiny of humanity. This book is inscribed, in the sense of the work that UNESCO and FLACSO have been developing in Latin America, in a long-range effort to modify globalization from the markets and to build a future where all the actors acquire an effective role. For this, some of the main Latin American thinkers of the most diverse disciplines and ideological perspectives propose the strategies they consider necessary to face the challenges of the new millennium.
